Service

The ship was used to provide the following services:

1.) Grade school through High School camp and education programs (e.g., naval history, mechanical science, marine engineering, navigation and leadership training).

2.) Programs involving sea cadets, boy and girl scout groups, church and other youth groups.

3.) Teacher education, seminars and symposiums.
